CASA AMOR was a dream project—divinely timed and deeply personal. When Luis “Ricky” Castellanos invited us to help reimagine his family’s boutique hotel in the queer paradise of Zipolite, Sergio cried (literally).
This project was a love letter to one of their earliest passions: interior design. We joined midway through renovations with a tight budget, a clear vision, and a lot of heart. Each room became a love letter to Oaxacan culture—quirky, warm, and full of charm. But our collaboration extended far beyond the walls—we helped evolve the hotel’s identity from Casa Playa del Amor to the more intimate and evocative Casa Amor, setting the foundation for its next chapter.
It remains one of our most cherished collaborations—and one we continue to support. Because some places don’t just hold memories—they hold magic.
